Samantha Hendricks is the Executive Director of Human Resources for the Cherokee Nation, the largest tribe in the United States, with more than 450,000 Tribal citizens worldwide and one of the largest employers in northeastern Oklahoma. Since joining Cherokee Nation in 2021, Samantha has provided strategic insight and vision to create an overall advantage. Her passion is to mentor others to achieve their goals and aspirations in the workforce. She embraces the opportunities to boost employee engagement and leads purposefully to enhance success in a fast-paced environment.

Samantha accelerated her career when she joined Cherokee Nation Businesses, a subsidiary of the Cherokee Nation, in 2004. She has effectively held positions of significant responsibility on a continuous path of professional advancement. Samantha graduated from Friends University, where she studied business management and earned a Masters in Human Resource Management. She is a Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) member and holds a Tribal Human Resource certification since 2017.
